I have been on the hunt for a cool, purple toned highlight which is why I chose the shade Hippo. This shade reminds me a lot of Nars Copacabana, which I absolutely love. The texture of these highlighters is a bouncy cream like texture. It kind of reminds me of the Maybelline bouncy blushes, but maybe a little less bouncy.
This shade is more on the sheer side, but I found that I could easily build it up by applying a few layers. The best way I found to apply it is with your fingers. This shade is really beautiful and looks really pretty with a cool tone eye look. I really recommend checking out Colourpop products. So far I have had good luck with most of their products and I love the low price.

Ooh, you're right, it is similar to NARS Copacabana! I can't make myself buy the full size Copacabana because it's so pricey but this seems like a great alternative. I've never tried the ColourPop highlighters but I like the other things I've tried from them a lot. :)
