Tarte Make Believe in Yourself: Magic Wands Brush Set Review

Hi!
Today I am going to review the new Tarte Make Believe in Yourself: Magic Wands Brush Set. This brush set can be found at Tarte.com and Sephora.com. The set includes 5 brushes and retails for $39.00. The handles of these brushes are inspired by Unicorns which I personally love! I tend to stick to Real Techniques and Eco Tools brushes because they are good quality and inexpensive, but I thought I would splurge on these because I kind of love Unicorns.

The powder brush is the only brush that I am not crazy about. It is very soft and very fluffy so the only thing it is good for is highlight or if you were looking to lightly set your face with powder. I was hoping to be able to use this brush for blush, but it is just too soft.

I love this contour brush. It has just the right amount of density while also being soft. It works great!

I was surprised that I actually really like this foundation brush. I tend to prefer a more dense brush or beauty blender for foundation, but this applies it very nicely.

The blending brush is great for targeted blending. It is very soft but not fluffy so it is great for the crease.

I have to say that I love this shading brush! It works great if you spray the brush with a setting spray to make your metallic shadow really pop.

I really like this brush set. It would make a really nice gift or if you are just looking to treat yo'self!
I hope you like this post and if you have any products you would like me to review let me know in the comments below.

Too Faced Natural Love Palette Review & Swatches

Hey! Today I am reviewing the new Too Faced Natural Love Ultimate Neutral Eyeshadow Palette. This is the newest eyeshadow palette from Too Faced and was created to bring together the most loved shades from all the Too Faced bestselling palettes. It contains 13 shades that have been in previous palettes and 17 new shades. The palette retails for $59.00 and can be found at Ulta, Sephora, and toofaced.com.

I am in love with the packaging of this palette. It is very thin and comes with a nice big mirror. The design they chose is right up my alley with the shabby chic vibe and the woodland animals.

This palette, like all Too Faced Palettes, includes a little booklet that shows you different looks you can create with the palette. This particular booklet also gives you some history behind the inspiration for this palette.

L to R: Heaven, Fairy Tale, Nudie, Tickle Me, Don't Settle

L to R: Lace Teddy, Satin Sheets, Push-up, Honey Pot, Chocolate Martini, Undercover

L to R: Pink Cheeks, Kittens, Bunny Nose, Moonbeam, Love Bug, Smokin'

L to R: Poodle, Cutie Patootie, Dear Diary, Coffee Date, Spoiled, Night Fever

L to R: Spotlight, Honey Butter, Honeymoon, Hot & Bothered, Makeup & Chill, Stiletto

I really like this palette a lot, especially all of the cute shade names. The pigmentation is pretty good with the exception of Fairy Tale because it is basically straight glitter. I was disappointed with the matte black, Stiletto, I prefer a very true black and this one shows up more on the grey side. Overall I think it is a really great palette if you love neutral shadows. I do think the price is a little high, but if you have any Ulta points this would be a great palette to use them on. What is your favorite Too Faced palette? Let me know!
